  • Morris Canal Working Group Meeting: The Morris Canal Working Group will meet on Wednesday, March 1, at the North Jersey Transporation Planning Authority in Newark (One Newark Center — 1085 Raymond Blvd) at 1 p.m. The meeting will include a recap of the Morris Canan Greenway Corridor Study, a discussion of the future of the canal and an update on greenway projects.or more information visit the  Facebook event page.

  • Canal Society Program Meeting: Come learn about the Morris Canal along the 11-mile level stretch between Port Murray and Saxton Falls in Warren County during the Canal Society's Program Meeting on March 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Morris County Heritage Common. Not only will you learn the history of the canal along towns like Rockport and Hackettstown, while viewing some fascinating historic images, but you’ll also discover great places to explore today.   • Park Fest at Bread Lock Park: Warren County Parks is hosting its 3rd Annual Park Fest at Bread Lock Park, a free day of music, art, history, literature and more!
